KSSS Olympic Class Regatta - the season finale for dinghy sailors
As tradition dictates, the first weekend of October is the big finale for Sweden's and the Nordic's dinghy sailors with the KSSS Olympic Class Regatta held in Saltsjöbaden outside Stockholm. The regatta gathers large fleets of all the biggest dinghy classes as many cups and series are completed this weekend.
We hope to see over 500 dinghies on Baggensfjärden again this year.
KSSS ambition is for the Olympic Class Regatta to be an exciting and fun finale of the sailing season for all dinghy sailors in Sweden and the Nordic countries - from the youngest Optimist sailors and members of the national SWE Sailing Team to men and women in Laser Master, 505 and the OK-dinghy. Baggensfjärden is usually filled with dinghies and the atmosphere is great!
In order to plan the event in the best way possible, KSSS will decide which classes can participate, once the entry time has passed. Classes with fewer than eight boats will not be able to participate and these entry fees will be repaid.
