Olle Appelberg har blivit nominerad som Classic Boats "person of the year"
Olle Appelberg will be recognised by some CB readers as an occasional correspondent for Baltic news. But this nomination is not for his purple prose, it’s because he is one of the main organisers behind Swedish classic yachting and the brilliant Baltic circuit – since 2010, under the auspices of the Scandinavian Classic Yacht Trust, where he is a founding director.
So it’s for his behind-the-scenes work making classic boating in those northern waters a fabulous spectacle and getting the activities into the public eye. We could do with him in the UK!
