There are plenty of accommodation options during the event, such as:
Sandhamn Seglarhotell
This is the island's most well-known hotel, famous for its nautical theme and its proximity to the harbor - it is literally a stone’s throw from where the J/70s will be moored a. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, a spa, an outdoor pool, and a restaurant with sea views.
Sands Hotell
A charming boutique hotel located on Sandhamn offering a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The hotel combines modern amenities with a Scandinavian aesthetic: the rooms tend to be minimalist yet comfortable, with some offering views of the picturesque harbor or the surrounding forested landscape.
A cozy and charming bed-and-breakfast housed in the historic Missionshuset building on Sandhamn. This unique accommodation offers guests an opportunity to stay in one of Sandhamn’s most iconic buildings, blending history with comfort in a peaceful island setting.
Private cottages and cabins
Many sailors opt for renting private cottages or cabins, which often come fully equipped with kitchens
and outdoor spaces. Websites like Airbnb and local Swedish rental sites are good places to find these
options.
Lökholmen
During the European Championship we will have access to KSSS’s Island of Lökholmen where we are able to offer lodging in the accommodation used for the club’s sailing camp. More information and availability will be available shortly. Lökholmen Guest harbour is operated by the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS), which serves as an overflow for the more crowded Sandhamn harbor. It’s a popular spot for sailors to moor their boats during the busy summer season. There is a regular shuttleboat from Lökholmen to Sandhamn.
Stay on a cruising yacht
We are pressed for landbased accommodation, but with plenty of moorings on both Sandhamn, Lökholmen and Telegrafholmen chartering a boat to stay on is a great option. All three harbors of Sandhamn have access to restrooms and showers, on Lökholmen there is even a Sauna. Boats can be chartered through for example Skipperi.
