Application for Exemption

Guidelines for applying for an exemption of rules in Notice of Race (NoR) or/and Sailing Regulation (SI).

An exemption is a permit not to comply with a specified rule/requirement set out in the NoR or SI. KSSS can only grant an exemption from rules if it meets specific criteria. Your application must provide sufficient technical reasons to be granted exemption. It must also proof that the risk to safety (or the marine environment) is not increased. Your application must indicate the rule or provision from which you are applying.
